So anyway, My ifrst 2 lines seem totally unrelatd but i swear they are! For our drama elective devised piece, I'm playing Carla, the best friend of Emily(played by serene), who is getting married to Joshua(played by diane). I LIKE emily. in THAT way. you know, the ellen-degeneres-and-portia-de-rossi way. And it made me think, in all my frustration stemming from how on earth I would play a lesbian, how is it possible for girls to like other girls and boys to like other boys?? not butchy girls or effiminate boys either, but like, lipstick lesbians and macho gays. WTF???
